The last Friday of every month at noon is the Iowa Writers’ Collaborative Office Lounge. It’s an opportunity to interact with members of the Iowa Writers’ Collaborative. If you are a paid subscriber to any member of the Collaborative, you will find the link below. If you aren’t a paid subscriber, please consider becoming one. You can be a subscriber to one, some, or all of the Collaborative’s newsletters but doing the last means getting a LOT of e-mails. The Collaborative just added a few more writers, including

• now-retired political science professor Dennis Goldford, who has been KCCI’s go-to politics analyst for decades

• Eldridge resident Bill Tubbs, former owner of the North Scott Press

• and current KTIV morning news anchor Taylor Deckert, who wakes up about the time I fall asleep and is at the other end of the millennial age scale.

Robert Leonard will host the discussion, and he’ll be joined by about a dozen members of this group (but not me this time).
